All new company leaders participate in a rigorous orientation program, which includes a learning plan comprised of webinars, online courses, mentoring, and classroom training.
MANAGEMENT DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM
We are very proud of our many servers and housekeepers, as well as engineering, dining, culinary, and administrative staff who have successfully graduated from Vi's Management Development Program (MDP). Many of Vi's MDP graduates have experienced career progression as a result of our exclusive program focused on developing future leaders. Selected employees participate in a year-long learning plan filled with courses, experiential learning, and mentoring.
HARVARD BUSINESS COURSES, SIMULATIONS AND WEBINARS
Vi invests in high-quality educational experiences through our relationship with Harvard Business Publishing. Employees readily have access to Harvard Management Mentor courses, simulations, and webinars, which draw research from recognized thought leaders.
Breakthrough Leadership is Vi’s signature leadership development program for experienced leaders with potential to move into a higher level position at Vi or take on additional responsibility. This year-long program includes assessments, coaching, classroom and online learning, and Harvard Business Publishing virtual study groups and learning.
New and emerging leaders may be nominated to participate in Vi’s Emerging Leaders Program. In partnership with Harvard Business Publishing, leaders participate in a six month virtual learning program intended to enhance the knowledge, skills and abilities of growing leaders.
