Will Concierge, TidePointe, a Vi Community

Will joined our TidePointe team in 2021 as a concierge. Will says the idea of being a “hero” is something he’d been searching for since he was a kid. “I wanted to help people who needed it. I expressed this to someone close to me, and they suggested I try senior care. Not only that, but it’s a rare opportunity to learn from a multitude of experienced individuals on life, and to learn more about the work around me, that I might better prepare to take on my future.”

Lifestyles Dream Team: Teri, Laura, and Carole Lifestyles Team, Vi at Silverstone

Our Lifestyles team at Silverstone – Teri, Lifestyle Manager, and Laura and Carole, both Lifestyle Coordinators – could easily be considered a “dream team.” They work together to create engaging experiences for our residents every day. They share that a big highlight of the day starts with making eye contact with nearly every resident by delivering the Community’s “Daily Chronicle” and word games for the day. They say they always end their day with a smile knowing they have enriched our residents’ lives.

Carol Corporate Director of Resident Services, Vi Headquarters

Carol has been Vi’s Corporate Director of Resident Services since 2016. She oversees a large team focused on meeting our residents’ needs in Vi communities. She works with our community Directors of Resident Services, Security Supervisors, Concierges, Valets, and Wellness Nurse Managers. She also recently earned her Ph.D. in Human Services Administration with a focus on gerontology – the study of the social, cultural, psychological, cognitive, and biological aspects of aging. She shares: “It’s really a passion.”
