As we continue to face the COVID-19 pandemic together, we are listening to and learning from one another  now more than ever before.
 As always, our top priority is the safety and well-being of Vi employees and residents.
Since the emergence of COVID-19, we have implemented a number of policies, practices and protocols to contribute to the safety and well-being of Vi employees and residents.

Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)

Vi follows all Center for Disease Control (CDC) guidelines and health department requirements.  Towards infection prevention, all Vi employees are provided with appropriate PPEs.

COVID-19 Screening The safety of our employees is at the forefront of everything we do.  At the onset of the pandemic we implemented COVID-19 screening protocols. 
COVID-19 Vaccine Vi requires that all employees are vaccinated against COVID-19, including having a booster when eligible.  Vaccination against COVID-19 is a requirement for continued employment with Vi.  
Enhanced Rewards Vi recognizes that our brand promise of quality care and exceptional service is delivered by our talented and dedicated employees.  The Heart of Vi bonus awards in 2020 were awarded to employees in recognition of the extrordinary sacrifices our team members have made throughout the pandemic.  Additionally, Vi provided additional compensation to those who work in COVID units and enhanced employee benefits to attract and retain the very best talent in the industry.
Importance of Self-Care In order to help employees, manage the stress related to COVID-19, we have made available three additional benefits:  LifeBalance, LifeSpeak and direct access to MDLive.  We continue to stress the need for employees to take care of themselves and their family members by practicing self-care routines across six key areas including emotional, practical, physical, mental, social, and spiritual self-care.

Infection Control and Prevention Training

Vi continues to ensure all employees receive reoccuring infection control and prevention training with a focus on Vi's Core 4 Priciples.  Watch the video to learn more.
